At Dynamic, the people who work on the front lines with advisors are driven by a passion for helping others. Heather Jackson is a perfect example.
Heather is a key member of Dynamic’s Concierge team, where she supports advisors and their clients every day with organization, care and an understanding of what it takes to keep a financial practice running smoothly. But you might say her path to finance was a bridle one.
From Horses to Finance
Originally born in Kansas City, Heather grew up in North Scottsdale and Cave Creek, Ariz. As a kid, her world revolved around horses. She spent years riding, competing and helping teach children, including those with special needs programs who benefited from horseback riding as a therapeutic tool. Teaching and helping others have always been part of who she is, long before finance entered the picture.
When Heather enrolled at Grand Canyon University, she initially pursued a business administration degree. It wasn’t until she discovered a love for economics that she pivoted into a finance and economics program. While the coursework was math-heavy and theoretical, a local investment firm internship changed everything. For the first time, she saw what financial services looked like in the real world, and she loved the idea of working one-on-one with clients — and helping them navigate important financial decisions.
Building Something New at Dynamic
Heather joined Dynamic in 2019, initially working on the Advisor Support team. Not long after, she was invited to help launch what would become Dynamic’s Concierge program, a customized service model designed to support advisors in a flexible, high-touch way.
What started with supporting a single advisor has grown into a multi-person team, serving dozens of advisors across the firm. Today, Heather serves as Concierge Manager, overseeing a team that handles everything from account setup and transfers to client communication and meeting support.
What she enjoys most? No two days are the same.
“The role is always changing,” Heather said. “Each advisor has a different style, a different practice and different needs. It keeps things interesting and constantly pushes me to learn.”
A Passion for Financial Planning and Freedom
Over time, Heather’s interest in the industry has evolved into a passion for financial planning. She has earned her Series 65 and is currently working toward her Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation. She is driven by a desire to better understand the “why” behind financial decisions and to help people more effectively.
She’s especially motivated by helping people get out of debt and experience the relief that comes with having a clear plan. After she and her husband intentionally paid down their own debt, she experienced firsthand how transformative that process can be.
“That weight that gets lifted — that’s what I want for other people,” she said.
Looking ahead, Heather hopes to focus on helping people during some of life’s most difficult transitions, including the loss of a spouse. Her goal is to be a steady, compassionate resource when people need it most.
Life Outside the Office
When she’s not working, Heather stays busy with her husband and their young daughter, Holly. She’s a natural creator — whether that’s crocheting stuffed animals, refurbishing furniture, or (in a former season of life) running a custom cookie business from home. She thrives on learning new skills and having hands-on projects to balance the time spent at her desk.
