Cathy Schultz, compliance analyst, has 17 years in the financial services industry and is a well-rounded professional accustomed to wearing many hats. Vanguard, AssetMark, Schwab and American Funds are just a few places she called home before she found her way to Dynamic in February 2022.
She’s a former Chicagoan who came to the Valley of the Sun in 1980. In her spare time, she rides her motorcycle, binges all things True Crime and spends time with her family. She also has a movie quote ready to go for every occasion.
More on Cathy…
Q. What’s your role at Dynamic and how do you help support our clients?
A. Currently, I serve advisors as a compliance analyst. My primary role is new employee accounts and ERISA rollovers.
Q. What attracted you to Dynamic, and what compels you to work in a profession servicing wealth advisors?
A. I was attracted to the team atmosphere. Other places I have worked, they say it’s a team atmosphere, but they always have closed doors, and someone is always trying to do what is best for them instead of what is best for the client, company and employees. I have always enjoyed helping people achieve their goals.
Q. Where do you live?
A. I’m originally from Chicago, but have lived in Phoenix since 1980.
Q. What’s your favorite activity or hobby?
A. I enjoy getting out on the motorcycle, going to festivals, and spending time with family or just sitting at home watching a good movie with my husband.
Q. What TV shows or movies are you watching right now?
A. I’m a real crime junkie. I read and watch pretty much anything that has to do with it.
Q. What’s your favorite line from a movie?
A. Wow, there are so many!
“I’m right on top of that, Rose.” – “Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead”
“You know why!” – “What Happens in Vegas”
“The first rule of Fight Club is: you do not talk about Fight Club. The second rule of Fight Club is: you DO NOT talk about Fight Club!” – ”Fight Club”
“Are you crying? There’s no crying in baseball!” – “A League of Their Own”
I can go on and on…but those are the first few that came to mind.
