Jennifer DeGroat joined Dynamic’s Advisor Support team in April 2018, having held positions at Annexus and Voya/ING. She has 10 years of experience in financial services. As team lead, she plays a vital role in training and managing the Service Request queue, ensuring timely completion.
With an eye for detail, Jennifer understands the importance that the “little things” can have on the successful completion of client requests. A self-proclaimed “detail geek,” she shares her penchant for accuracy and her joy of playing video games with her grandkids (and losing to them!).
Q. What’s your role at Dynamic and how do you help support our clients?
A. I’m the lead in Advisor Support, working Service Requests, coordinating workflows, directing efforts and helping ensure prioritization to keep servicing levels on pace. I handle escalated items and facilitate resolutions with our custodians. Also, I’m the relationship coordinator with RetireOne and Jackson, as well as the point person on annuity-related cases.
Q. What attracted you to Dynamic, and what compels you to work in a profession servicing wealth advisors?
A. I like working with advisors in an operational capacity. As an extrovert, I enjoy interacting with our talented advisors and their staff. I’m also a detail geek, which allows me to excel in accuracy. The combination of people and processes keeps things interesting and complements my skill sets.
Q. Where do you call home?
A. We’ve been living in Gilbert since 2014 and just love Arizona! I spent 22 years in Portland, Oregon, and grew up in Montana.
Q. What’s your favorite activity or hobby?
A. Being with my husband and family, especially playing with my grandkids at the park and losing to them in video games!
Q. What show are you streaming right now?
A. I’m currently watching the new season of “The Handmaids Tale!” The book was fantastic, and I read it in the late 90s.

A. Pretty quick, down the hallway to my office!
