Heather Perry joined Dynamic’s Advisor Support team from United Planners Financial Services in April, guiding advisors and making sure their needs are met. A Valley of the Sun Native, Heather has 12 years’ experience in the financial services industry. Prior to United Planners, she has held positions at Charles Schwab, Bank of America and Merrill Lynch. She studied at Grand Canyon University, where she majored in Finance and Economics.

Q&A:

Q. What’s your role at Dynamic and how do you help support our clients?

A. My role is in Advisor Support, supporting advisors with the back office operating functions so that they can focus on their clients. This includes sending documents to custodians, submitting move money requests to custodians, sending DocuSign forms to clients to sign. Alerting advisors of alerts from custodians, and just being there to answer questions for advisors and guide them into the right area to make sure their needs are being met.

Q. What attracted you to Dynamic, and what compels you to work in a profession servicing wealth advisors?

A. Initially it was the name that attracted me, then I realized that Dynamic specialized in helping independent financial advisors with managing the day to day of their business. I have always enjoyed working with advisors and helping them. In helping advisors, I learn so much and it is purposeful work.

Q. Where do you live?

A. I am a native of Phoenix, Arizona and I currently live in the Northwest Valley.

Q. When you’re not working, what’s your favorite activity or hobby?

A. I love reading books or watching documentaries, and practice creating makeup looks.

Q. How do you plan to spend the holidays? Tell us about any special traditions.

A. For Christmas Eve, I go to my brother’s house and my family and I eat, share white elephant gifts, sing Christmas songs and share what we are grateful for. On New Year’s Eve, I normally stay home and watch movies.

Q. What are you streaming right now?

A. I’m currently binge watching “Yellowstone.”
