Senior Trade Support Associate and outdoor adventurist Anh (Anny) Nguyen joined Dynamic’s Investment Management team in March from Merrill Lynch where she started as a financial planning intern in 2017. She’s a 2022 graduate of the University of North Florida where she double majored in Finance and Financial Planning with a minor in Economics.

Upon passing the Securities Industry Essentials® (SIE®) Exam, Anny went on to earn Series 7 and 66 licenses—all in-between enjoying the great outdoors and visiting historic cities in Central Europe.

Q. What’s your role at Dynamic and how do you help support our clients?
A. Currently, my role is trade support. I assist with various trade related items on the Investment Management team.

Q. What attracted you to Dynamic, and what compels you to work in a profession servicing wealth advisors?
A. I was attracted by the ease and approachable nature of the Dynamic team that fostered quick and healthy communication between team members. I am compelled to work in this profession because of the quality of new information I get to learn every day.

Q. Where do you live?
A. I currently live in Jacksonville, Florida, but would love to visit Arizona one day.

Q. When you’re not working, what’s your favorite activity or hobby?
A. I love any activity that deals with being outdoors! Some of my favorites are hiking, stand-up paddleboarding, ziplining, etc. I also like to do CrossFit.

Q. Tell us about your latest adventure.
A. I visited Budapest and Vienna last winter. The art, culture and food were incredible!

Q. Who’s your favorite superhero(s)? Why?
A. Iron Man or Wonder Woman, both sacrificed so much, if not everything, for humanity.

Q. What book are you reading right now?
A. The book I’m currently reading is “The Psychology of Money” by Morgan Housel.

Q. What’s your favorite line from a movie?
A. “You’re born alone and you die alone and this world just drops a bunch of rules on top of you to make you forget those facts. But I never forget. I’m living like there’s no tomorrow because there isn’t one.” – Don Draper, “Mad Men”

This quote reminds me that I should live everyday with no regrets because not every day is promised.

Q. How long is your commute to Dynamic?
A. Maybe 15 steps from the bedroom to the home office (smiley Emoji).
